We're raising money for the purpose of sending Charlotte as far away as possible - a good cause as we're sure you'll agree! She's going to be teaching little Tanzanians the virtues of speaking English in a sanitary environment. Check out www.stmarysparish.co.uk/charities/arusha-project.html.

So, to do this, we're doing two things - The Three Peaks Challenge, and a Fund-Raiser Gig at The Vic, Derby.

We've been training hard for the Three Peaks doing practice walks up and down the country. Our date for the big event and sponsorship details to be published online shortly.

For now, practice your drinking arm for a night out at The Vic on Saturday 5th June 2010. We've got our set list together and organised a great local band to help us put on a show! Sign on to the facebook event for more details and come on down!
If we're lucky, they'll keep her!

Spenfest Update!

The date for Spenfest has been changed! It will now take place on the 24th July, still at The Vic , Derby though. So this means though that we will for the first time be playing two gigs in one day! We were asked in January to play a cancer charity gig in Melbourne, and we of course cannot say no to either of these great causes. Therefore, we will be on at Spenfest at 6:15 and then we'll be at Melbourne sometime around 10, times haven't been confirmed for it though.

More details on that when they come. Also don't forget that next week we are playing Riply's Rip It Up at PJ's Bar on Friday 23rd. Start of the weekend, no excuses!!

Much love, Stephen/The New
